A sequel of sorts to
A Wild Sheep Chase, and so worth reading just to see more of the Sheep Man (although of course, this being Murakami, there are countless other reasons). Actually,
Dance Dance Dance strikes me more as a sort of
Wind-Up Bird in sketch form, which isn't a bad thing but does tend to rob the book of something of its freshness for me; I didn't enjoy it quite as much as the other two, but it's still very, very good.
