The hope was, of course, that it would hold another "There Is An End". But I always suspected that this was likely to prove a forlorn hope, and I'm not too disappointed that that's how it's indeed shaken out - another part of my interest was simply in seeing what the Greenhornes sounded like when they
didn't have Holly Golightly guesting out front, and this record (a 'best of' of sorts, although - judging by the liner notes - only approximately so) pretty much resolves
that. Retro-sounding rock and roll, 'garage' in feel; okay but nothing special by my lights.
