This was an impressive and engaging exhibition - political through and through, expressed in lots of ways, through the reclamation and reuse of 'Aboriginalia' and otherwise. I was drawn to the 'Blak Velvet' pieces and the stunning large-format riffs on Margaret Preston - both immediately impactful while also multi-layered and nuanced.
