Bought on spec, based on CWL's spectacularly good remix of Asobi Seksu's "Strawberries", but for the most part it comes across quite disappointingly as a somewhat more retro and considerably less memorable
Give Up (not to mention five years on from that other), albeit with a bit more of a kitchen sink approach to its laptop-pop mode; things only really pick up for me on "Cutting Balloons" and "Lunch for Breakfast", each distinguished by some more dynamic beats and melody/rhythm lines than are to be found elsewhere on the record.
