Offbeat, beguiling, sweet-- unflinchingly honest -- a definite personal vision, but in a way resistant to description or delineation (impressions and shades rather than manifestos and Messages).
Things among many others to savour: the goldfish sequence; the 'hand on fire' image (and its lead-up); the score; the general wispy poetic disconnectedness of the mood.
